Something remarkable happened yesterday: I attended to a show; two bands were playing: PISTONES and BENDERS. I went because I was told PISTONES wrote a song about cn, a web comic I make that has gained some notoriety.
It was an amazing show.
But that's not the special part. The point is, a friend of mine knew I was going so he meet me and gave me something he was carrying since the last San Diego ComiCon: A Dave McKean book. I cannot explain how much I look up to Dave McKean, He's like the god of illustration for me. It's the one person I really really really.... gargh! Can't explain. I'll just leave that way.
So, he brings me this book as a present, and open it in front of my eyes. And It's signed. It says:
For Caballo Negro.
*Here goes a little sketch*

Peter Pan no Boken (the adventures of Peter Pan) is my all time favorite cartoon. It's one of the special things in my heart. I love that anime to death, I think I like it even more than (Neon Genesis) Evangelion (and I'm a sucker for Evangelion) and Cowboy Bebop.

Lyrics so you can sing-along:
it's the cruelest joke to play
i'm so high, i run in place
Only a line, we separate, so
i keep on playin our favorite song
i turn it up while you're gone
it's all i got when you're in my head and you're in my head so i need it
you're the only thing i've got that i can't seem to get enough
We collide for one embrace, so
Hurry up & wait forever
Hurry up & wait for forever
This book I'm reading got me thinking several nights about why would I do if vampires roamed the earth and no other human beings are near me. I can go out during the day and do whatever I want, even kill them, but at night I must remain home listening to them scream outside for my blood.
No internet? Pffh! I'd probably kill myself.
No, I´m kidding. I probably loot the library, the video store, the sex shop and Wal-Mart, getting as much Perrier as I can get (I'm hooked with those little green bottles), make my home a palace, praying to GOD I can keep my health. I really hate pain.
